We chose to demonstrate the capabilities of the GyroCam by creating a motorcycle mount. Since video taken from a rigidly attached motorcycle mount is often disorienting due to the constant orientation changes, we thought that this would be a good platform for demonstrating the advantages of using the GyroCam. It is important to emphasize that the GyroCam is a general solution for taking video during motion, but this mounting solution was utilized specifically to demonstrate the capabilities of the device.
External CameraIn this configuration, you have the option of using an external camera to take video. This can be preferred if you would like higher quality video than your cell phone is capable of, or other features like a wide angle view. In this mode, your cell phone is used to control the mount and the external camera is used to take video. In the example photo, we are using a GoPro Hero 3 to take video.

Cell Phone CameraFor those that don't own an external camera, or don't wish to use one, there is the option of using the cell phone for video taking. In this situation, the phone is mounted to the actuators and is used as a viewfinder and camera. The camera mount still performs its view stabilization without the need of buying an external camera.
